The beneficiary of this year’s Enloe Charity Ball is Note in the Pocket.
Since 2004, the Enloe Charity Ball has raised funds and awareness for the work of nonprofits serving the greater Enloe community. Our student-led efforts have raised $1,856,862 for area nonprofits through the Enloe Charity Ball, each of which was selected through an annual application process. Enloe Charity Ball received 13 applications from community nonprofits this year, on top of countless letters of interest, and we selected Note in the Pocket as the beneficiary of our 2025 fundraising efforts.
Our ambitious goal is to raise $200,000 to support the work and vision of Note in the Pocket, and we need your help. We are energized by Note in the Pocket’s mission to provide quality clothing to homeless and impoverished children and families with dignity and love. Their numerous programs currently support thousands of households across Wake and Durham Counties.
In the coming year, with your support, the Enloe Charity Ball will enhance the long-term sustainability of Note in the Pocket by contributing funds toward its goal of serving 12,000 children and families by 2025. Over the past four years, Note in the Pocket has seen a 70% increase in clothing requests, demonstrating the urgent need for expansion. The funds raised by Enloe will directly support Note in the Pocket’s growing staff, including school-based clothing delivery, community Pocket Pop Ups, and their recent Durham expansion, which clothed more than 1,200 individuals in 2024.
