Being a freshman in student council was a little overwhelming in the beginning not gonna lie, but with all the amazing people in council to guide me and answer all the questions that I had was truly wonderful. I’m honestly very blessed to be part of such an amazing experience that will benefit many homeless people living in Wake County. Just the thought of raising $150,000 is mind-blowing and making sure that we reach that goal is definitely a little nerve-wrecking. Every time I see students in student council who so strongly believe in raising this money I immediately feel confident that we will be able to raise our goal. I hope that I’ll be part of this family next year to raise even more money!!
