The first thing that popped into my mind when I first applied to student council was Charity Ball! I’d always heard about it from Enloe Students, and I was eager to have an experience of my own. As young leaders, it’s vital that we give back to our community, and Charity Ball does just that.
This year we are helping out the Autism Society of North Carolina. This is an amazing organization to be working with because, we’re helping out young adults that aren’t much older than us. The IGNITE Center is such a wonderful place to help young adults facing challenges.
I’m very excited for my Charity Ball experience this year, and to soon reach our goal of 200K! Down the road I know the bar will be set much more higher, and I’m ready to write my story and leave my legacy at Enloe High School’s Charity Ball.
