Enloe Charity Ball holds a profound significance for me that can best be described by its very slogan: alive with purpose.
My journey toward this purpose began in elementary school when I secured the vice president position with a commitment to “go the extra mile for smiles.” Although seemingly trivial now, at the time, it was the focal point of my aspirations. Joining my high school student council marked the continuation of this long-held dream, and was marked by another fun slogan: “Jojangles, it’s Jo time!”
Being elected last year allowed me to serve my school and engage in student events with a team of dedicated peers. However, Enloe Charity Ball goes beyond just serving the school; it serves as a powerful avenue for the greater community. The event enables high schoolers to create real change through a collaborative effort that vividly showcases the very essence of being alive with purpose. Enloe Charity Ball shows that anything is possible with hard work. Being a part of the Enloe Student Council is something I truly take pride in and am alive with, and I am excited to witness the future impact and growth of Enloe Charity Ball.
