Charity Ball to me is an inspiration. Throughout my three years being a part of the organization, I have seen different groups of students work together to achieve one common goal: bettering the Southeast Raleigh community. Our organization, being entirely student-led, means that we can constantly inspire our communities through the people who can have the most impact, the students. I have seen so many students from all across the country become inspired by student-led initiatives. When people see students striving to make a change, all types of people notice. Our organization has grown and accomplished things that were once thought to be impossible when it began 20 years ago. I have been blessed to have worked with three incredible beneficiaries, and I have met many amazing people who have helped and inspired me in so many ways. Giving back to your community is one of the most rewarding experiences in the world, and I have Charity Ball to thank for inspiring so many students like me to take part.
