A Domino Effect

img_2424When I found out my classmates had elected me to student council, I was on cloud nine. Being a part of student council allows me to experience comradery and achieve goals that would be unattainable on my own. The feeling I get when working with a group towards a common goal is more than words can describe. When some people think of Charity Ball they think of some big, elaborate party. It certainly is that, but it is also so much more. Its about being part of something that is bigger than me, you and us. Charity Ball allows us the opportunity to help at-risk women who would benefit from our support. It is difficult to understand the challenges many women, children and families have to face.  It is unimaginable that many families do not know when their next meal will be and children go to bed hungry. With the holiday season around the corner, I challenge you to take a moment and think about how you can make a difference in someone’s life. Donate to Charity Ball and you can make that difference. In the spirit of giving, whoever is helped will in turn help someone else. I hope that Charity Ball will have a domino effect and not only affect the current society but generations to come. That’s why I’m #AllinforUrbanMin.
