One of the best feelings you can get as a student is to do well in school. Being an Enloe student has made me value my academic achievements enormously. What separates Enloe from other schools is how much we appreciate and celebrate academic prosperity. We continue to take challenging classes and always strive to do well in these courses. This is to reach our one common goal: getting into the college of our dreams. While I am only a junior and have not reached that final stage yet, I witness all the seniors at my school working very hard to reach their goals. The look on someone’s face when they’ve been accepted into a great college is priceless, I’ve witnessed it first hand.

I am very grateful that I have the ability to take full advantage of the tools that have been given to me in order to succeed and to be able to reach those same goals. The Autism Society of NC has opened my eyes to the fact that not many of my peers with autism are as fortunate.

Everyone should be able to have that feeling of success. I believe everyone should be able to use their resources to the best of their abilities so they can reach their maximum success. ASNC believes this too. They continue to persevere and give my peers who have autism the support they need so they can reach their goals as well. Raising money for an organization that dedicates so many resources and so much time to impact my peers has enlightened me of the support and help that they need to keep fulfilling their mission. Working with ASNC has opened my eyes to the different kinds of people that I work with every day. I hope that other students are inspired in the same way that I have been when they see the impact that we, as a school, make.

I enjoy the Charity Ball season so much and cannot wait to raise $200,000 for ASNC. See you on December 8th!
