Roots

When we hosted Mini Charity Ball at Hunter Elementary, it reminded me of my roots. I am an alum myself, having been shaped by the school in my six years of attendance. It really opened up my eyes to see that I was able to make an impact on the kids who are now going through the same classes that I did, and it feels great to be able to help the kids and give them a fun experience they would have otherwise missed out on.

Volunteering at Mini Charity Ball was just one way I got to see the impact of Enloe Charity Ball on the community around us. With Alliance Medical Ministries, this year‘s beneficiary, being right across the street from Enloe, I am able to witness our impact on thousands of patients in my school community. It is crucial for me that we give back to our community because the people in our environment raise us to be the people we are. This is my first year being a part of ECB. I have only scratched the surface of what impact ECB can do for the community, and I am very excited to see what we can do in the future.
