The World Cup happens once every 4 years and when it happens, there is a certain feeling that you cherish because of how special it is. For me, Enloe Charity Ball is much the same. It has a unique vibe that can’t be replicated by anyone else in the Raleigh area.
This is my second year on Charity Ball and I couldn’t be more thankful. I was selected to be on Enloe Charity Ball at the end of my Sophomore year and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But as I worked with dedicated people for an issue that was inspiring, I became a part of the Charity Ball movement.
This year, Enloe Charity Ball has partnered with Neighbor to Neighbor. Whether that’s getting robbed by the referees in kickball, caroling with friends, or volunteering at N2N, there isn’t a dull moment with Enloe Charity Ball, much like the World Cup. On top of all the fun with ECB, we plan to raise $165,000 for N2N. Through this, ECB will break down barriers and, as a team of high school students, Enloe Charity Ball will be doing something inspirational. Thank you Enloe Charity Ball.
