Before I first came to Enloe, my siblings always hyped up Enloe Student Council as a group that creates a real impact in the community. When I finally applied, I immediately saw how right they were. From the moment I became involved, it was clear that this organization wasn’t just about hosting events or fundraising; it was about creating a culture of inclusivity and change. The energy at every meeting is palpable due to the potential that this council has to make a positive difference in our community.
Enloe Student Council doesn’t just talk about making a difference; they actively pursue it. Whether it’s through fundraisers for charity, uniting the student body, or simply volunteering for local communities, they continuously uphold their reputation.
Last year, when we were at CASA’s Kings Ridge apartments, you could see the happiness on the people’s faces. They were about to get an affordable home. A home that supported them. That change, the change that provided them with an affordable home, that’s the change the Enloe Charity Ball provides.
