The Enloe Kickball Tournament has been one of my favorite events in Student Council. Every year, it brings together students, staff, and friends for a day of fun and friendly competition, all while supporting a great cause. It’s an event that reminds me how teamwork, spirit, and community can come together to make something special happen.
In many ways, the Kickball Tournament is a lot like Clash Royale. In Clash Royale, you have to build a balanced deck and strategize how to use your cards to defend and attack at just the right moments. No single card can win the match alone; it takes a combination of smart planning and teamwork between all your units to succeed. The same goes for the tournament: every player on the team has a role to play, whether it’s pitching, fielding, or cheering from the sidelines. If one person isn’t paying attention or communicating, the whole team can fall behind.
As a match in Clash Royale gets closer to overtime, the pressure rises—every elixir point and every card drop matters. The Kickball Tournament feels the same way when the score is tied in the final inning, and everyone’s watching the next kick. The adrenaline, the teamwork, and the excitement all come together in that moment. And when your team finally wins, or even just plays their best, it’s that same rush of victory you feel when the King Tower falls in Clash Royale.
